Making Photo Intaglio Prints

I reproduce my original photographs of Irish land and seascapes onto translucent film and expose the image onto light sensitive photopolymer plates. The emulsion on the plate hardens where it is exposed and the softer areas are eaten away and become the recesses that hold the ink. I etch these solar plates using traditional intaglio techniques, print them by hand and sell to customers as limited edition prints.
